Global Entrepreneurship Week

The fourth annual Global Entrepreneurship Week 2011, taking place from November 14th-20th, is a celebration of “innovation, entrepreneurship and creativity” featuring millions of people participating in more than 100 countries and in all 50 states.  The initiative began in 2008 and was established by Carl Schramm, president and CEO of the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, and then-UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown.   Schramm said the event is meant to be a time to “celebrate the innovators who bring ideas to life, drive economic growth and expand human welfare.”
